Concept Summary
The Copy and Paste Initiative is a flagship knowledge-exchange platform by Impact in Action Africa (IIAA) designed to identify, document, and replicate best practices in community-driven CSR and ESG initiatives across Africa and globally.
It operates on the belief that Africa’s transformation does not always require new inventions—sometimes, it requires replicating what works elsewhere, adapting it to local contexts, and scaling it efficiently.
Through curated case studies, multimedia storytelling, and structured learning exchanges, Copy and Paste accelerates the migration of proven, sustainable development models from one region to another — ensuring every successful idea leaves a wider mark.
Purpose
To reduce duplication of effort and accelerate impact by connecting African communities, corporates, and governments to tested models that can be locally adapted, scaled, and sustained.
Objectives
- Document & Showcase high-impact CSR/ESG practices across Africa and beyond.
- Extract Key Success Factors from successful initiatives (governance, financing, innovation, participation).
- Facilitate Peer Learning between communities, corporates, and institutions.
- Enable Adaptation by providing context-adjusted replication guides and policy briefs.
- Support Regional Integration of best practices aligned to the SDGs, AU Agenda 2063, and AfCFTA goals.
